Soil SampleWith fertilizer prices what they are, you should sample all fields being considered for fertilization.

Sample as soon as possibe so delays will not restrict your applications. Soil samples CANNOT be sent for testing if wet. Depending on the time of year, this may be a problem for many people. If precipitation is hindering your plans, please take your samples as normal and dry your soil NATURALLY before bringing it to the office. To do this, lay it out on newspaper and let it dry - please do not dry your soil in an oven or apply any other type of artificial heat to it. This will only take important information away from your sample and possibly render a false response once tested.

What does it cost?

For the convenience of our Pendleton County producers, 20 soil samples per household are FREE! So don't delay in testing... find out exactly what you need to help raise a better crop. And please remember, results will take at least 3-4 weeks (maybe longer) to return, so give yourself plenty of time for the results to come back.

You can use one of our soil probes for a $20 deposit which will be returned to you when you return the probe.
